DEMENTIA CHAMPION BECOMES LEAD OF AWARD WINNING PROJECT
One Voice Blackburn is pleased to announce Sadia Rafiq is the new lead of the Baiter Sehat project.
The project is now in it’s fourth phase and will continue to reinforce our previous work and focus on educating the local communities and increasing access to health and well-being provisions, and in this way, improve the outcome for the whole community.
“I initially worked with One Voice in their organ donation campaign. I am delighted to be able to take this further and support my community through the Baiter Sehat project.
“I also become a Dementia Champion after being trained by One Voice. This will help me support people with dementia as well as families who are caring for someone with dementia.
“I look forward to working in all the key areas of the Baiter Sehat project and to help the local BME community reach services that are relevant and vital to them.”
